The 80s are back in a big way. From music to movies and even fashion, this iconic decade influences the next generation, and for those who were around, it sparks feelings of nostalgia. Being an 80s baby myself, I wanted to ride the wave of this pop culture phenomenon and pair it with another– blind box toys. Reminiscing over references to the past and remembering what is was like to be a kid again bring joy and often help build connections to others. That’s what I hope to achieve with this toy line.

With the growth in popularity of collectible toys, there is an overwhelming number of choices for collectors. Retail shelves are jammed with boxes fighting for attention. Websites and forums are flooded with ads for the next hot release. How does one stand out in the crowd?

Create a collectible toyline that will spark joy and feelings of nostalgia while being relevant and on-trend to catch the attention of collectors. Build out the Brand and Marketing Assets to reach the target audience on multiple platforms.
